50 Years of Cream

Full-blooded tribute on tour in May

Cream Cream/George Stroud

British band Cream cut a template for heavy rock that was followed and expanded by Black Sabbath and more (Lester Bangs wrote that Sabbath was like Cream, but worse, so there you go).

50 years from the debut of the groundbreaking power trio and The Music of Cream is about to tour Australia. Featuring Eric Clapton’s nephew Will Johns, Kofi Baker and Malcolm Bruce – sons of Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce – blues guitar legend Robben Ford and Glenn “The Voice of Rock” Hughes, the tour is visiting from May 23. Tickets are available from here.
