Sydney political punk agitators Dispossessed have lost close to $7000 worth of gear when it was stolen outside the Factory Theatre in Marrickville on the weekend.

Guitarist Serwah Attafuah posted a list of the gear taken to Facebook on Sunday. Music fans are urged to keep a look out for the stolen instruments and pedals. A gofundme campaign has since been launched to help the band recover their ability to perform.
